	The Bombay Company has discontinued operations and all stores are closed as of January 21, 2008. In 1998 Bombay developed a strategy to expand its Bombay Outlet stores by focusing beyond just clearance. Buyers develop a complementary assortment, unique to the Bombay Outlets, yet still in touch with the Bombay brand. With over 45 stores across the United States and Canada, Bombay Outlets offered exclusive home designs at price points and values targeted toward the outlet customer.
